mishare device for ipods

miShare  - the iPod File Swap Device

So, how fast will it be before Apple sicks its legal bulldogs after this startup? This device purportedly allows for quick and easy sharing between ipods. Hmmm, I think I can hear those bulldogs breathing…heavily.

The device, of course, sports a nice little linux software package that powers the interface. That interface allows ipods to share song, videos, audio books, etc. between one another. Of course, protected content will need to be decrypted, er paid for once it’s on the other side. The device is set to sell for $99. miShare works with “all Mini, Nano, 3G, 4G, Video (5G), and Classic (6G) iPod models.” It doesn’t currently work with the Shuffle, iPhone, or iTouch.
