The Golden Globe Awards Winners
Tonight, January 13, 2008, the Golden Globes aired on NBC. Without actors or actresses to spice up the ceremony, though, producers turned the party into a news conference. But we still have winners to announce.
Golden Globe Winners - Cate Blanchett, Best Supporting Actress, Drama
Instead of glitz and glamor, the Golden Globes were announced at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The news conference only lasted 30 minutes. The winners will receive their awards via mail. Entertainment show correspondents served as the presenters.
A great moment of irony: Cate Blanchett won the award for Best Supporting Actress, Drama, for her role in “I’m Not There”.
